Project Description:
In spite of major unforeseen site challenges, this project
was opened on time for school in August 2005. The two
story school provides a new learning space for 550 students.
It’s hard not to notice the new science lab, the
music room and the media center with the natural light
streaming in from the arched windows. The cast stone arched
windows and entryways complement the brick exterior. The
new school incorporates some Tudor-style elements seen
in houses in the surrounding neighborhoods. The most notable
feature is the bell tower adorned with cast stone arched
entries.
